| Résumé : | Brazil is amongst the fastest developing countries of our time. Due to a complex history, specific climatic conditions and a distinct culture, Brazil’s approach to fashion business is unique. In order to analyze the managerial aspects of the Brazilian high-end fashion market, this paper focuses on the city of São Paulo since it hosts the highest concentration of wealth, designers and textile and apparel production in the country. The strong point of this analysis is the richness of the first-hand research obtained during the process. The industry, although still under development, is undergoing a very intense and exciting evolution – the future is promising for the Brazilian fashion industry. |
